Haiti - Sports : The Atlas Lionesses «devour» our Grenadières [3-0] (video) 29/10/2025 06:40:41
On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, as part of their preparations for upcoming international competitions, the Grenadières (ranked 49th in the world) faced the Moroccan national team (ranked 64th in the world) at the Père Jégo Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco, in a friendly match against the Atlas Lionesses. Our girls were thoroughly outclassed by the Atlas Lionesses and suffered a resounding 3-0 defeat. Following this crushing defeat against Morocco [3-0], our Grenadières have suffered a fourth consecutive loss : beaten by Chile [2-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-44654-haiti-football-friendly-return-match-chile-takes-revenge-on-haiti-[2-1].html , Canada [4-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-45028-haiti-friendly-match-our-grenadieres-defeated-by-canada-[4-1].html and [3-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-45049-haiti-return-match-without-demerit-our-grenadieres-bow-to-canada-[3-1]-video.html , with only one victory against Chile [1-0]. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-44626-haiti-flash-our-grenadieres-victorious-over-chile-[1-0-]-videos.html and a draw against Morocco [1-1] https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-44363-haiti-football-international-friendly-match-haiti-vs-morocco-[1-1]-video.html Starting XI : #1 Kaïna Cesar Pietrus: Lipscomb University (USA) #3 Jennyfer Limage: RC Lens (France) #4 Tabita Joseph: Olympique de Marseille (France) #5 Maudeline Moryl: Olympique de Marseille (France) #6 Melchie Dumornay: Olympique Lyonnais (France) #7 Batcheba Louis: Birmingham City (United Kingdom) #9 Sherly Jeudy: RC Lens (France) #10 Nerilia Mondesir Seattle Reign (USA) #14 Amandine Pierre-Louis: AS Saint-Étienne (France) #19 Dayana Pierre-Louis: RC Lens (France) #20 Deborah Bien-Aimé: AS Saint-Étienne (France) Coach : Malou Quignette Grenadières Substitutions : Beginning of the 2nd half : Bethina Petit-Frère replaces Déborah Bien-Aimé Chelsea Domond replaces Sherly Jeudy in the 65th minute Roseline Eloissaint replaces Amandine Pierre-Louis in the 65th minute Batcheba Louis replaces Florsie-Love Darlina Joseph in the 77th minute Summary : From the opening whistle, the "Atlas Lionesses" imposed their rhythm. Imane Saoud opened the scoring for Morocco in the 18th minute [1-0] following a beautiful team move. Uninspired and unrecognizable, our Grenadières, lacking cohesion, spent almost the entire first half absorbing repeated attacks from the Lionesses. Despite a few attempts to equalize, without ever truly troubling Khadija Er-Rmichi, the Moroccan goalkeeper, our Grenadières proved incapable of organizing themselves and converting their offensive efforts against a solid Moroccan defense. At the start of the second half, trailing 1-0 to Morocco, French coach Malou Quignette replaced Déborah Bien-Aimé with Bethina Petit-Frère. This change had no effect against the dominance of the Atlas Lionesses, which was confirmed by a goal from Ghizlane Chebbak in the 49th minute (2-0) after a well-constructed attack down the right flank against a faltering Haitian defense. Ibtissam Jraidi, playing with great attacking intent, extended Morocco's lead with a goal in the 70th minute [3-0], a scoreline that remained unchanged at the end of regulation time. Goals : Imane Saoud 18' [1-0] Ghizlane Chebbak 49' [2-0] Najat Badri 70' [3-0] Our Grenadières will enter the Concacaf Women's Championship 2026 qualifying phase starting November 30, 2025. They will begin with an away match against the "Jaguars" of Belize.
